Health Monitoring

The HORSE PROTECTOR is a very sensible purchase for us. We have two monitors in successful use, one for birth monitoring and one in an intensive care box. The ACARiS AI has already alerted us absolutely reliably and in good time for several births – without any false alarms! In addition to the birth alarm, the reports, the live stream and the monitoring function provide us with great added value for our day-to-day business. We are completely convinced by the system.

The HORSE PROTECTOR provides me with a daily evaluation of the horse’s behaviour (is my horse eating well?) and warns me in the event of colic, being stuck and/or intruders in the box. First of all, such an intelligent stall guard is incredibly reassuring. I am informed of any behavioural abnormalities, and my mobile phone informs me of any problems via the alarm function in the ACARIS app.

At the veterinary clinic here in Lüsche, we are now very happy that we can use the mobile HORSE PROTECTOR. The mobile version makes a lot of things easier for us, as it can be set up and taken down really quickly. There is a telescopic pole with which the height can be individually adjusted. The system can either be connected to electricity or powered by a powerful rechargeable battery that lasts for several days. It can therefore be used very flexibly, for example at a competition when you want to monitor a horse, or for aftercare when the system is taken home to continue monitoring a horse.

It also offers advantages for home visits: If a horse shows behavioural abnormalities at home that cannot be reproduced during the examination, we can observe it longer and more intensively. We can also monitor the horse’s sleeping behaviour, which is important as many horses develop problems such as collapse due to a lack of REM sleep. It’s really nice how easy it is to see in the analysis whether the horse has been lying down overnight or not. This can also be done super quickly from home using the app.
